Our VERY favorite place to stay when in Port Alberni. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well stocked. The staff is the BEST!

Stayed 2 nights over Canada long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the motel experience. VERY CLEAN! Appears to be all newly renovated. There’s an outdoor seating area with picnic table and BBQ. Pet friendly. Immaculate rooms, top-notch housekeeping, comfortable beds and pillows. The room had its own A/C unit and a kitchenette with everything you need. We would stay here again for sure

Wow! Much more than we expected when we booked in advance. Immaculate rooms, reasonable rates & great staff. We will stay there again next time we go to Port Alberni..

Very clean room, looked brand new, and felt comfortable. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Honestly, it’s one of the nicest stays I’ve had in a while, that’s coming from a Hilton/Marriott guy. If they had one of these in every city, it would be my new choice.

We’ve stayed here for 3 years in a row with our dog and have an amazing stay every time! The front desk lady was so kind and friendly, I wish I got her name! The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean! It’s quiet and safe and it feels very homey! We will continue to come back every year.

The level of comfort exceeded our expectations!
Having stayed in various suites, I can confidently say that these rooms are exceptionally clean, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The little kitchenette was a nice touch too.
We always look forward to our fishing trips here, especially since the motel is just five minutes from the marina.

This is an amazing little hotel!…We stayed in Cottage A, and it was very clean, newly renovated, and fully stocked with essentials for cooking. We arrived at a very cool house as they had already turned on the A/C. Conversation with the staff was informative and entertaining. Debbie is an amazing ambassador for this facility. We will definitely return.
Well done, Riverside Motel! Well done!

One night stay, booked ahead online. This motel has only a plus column list. Bathroom: Pump shampoo and conditioner bottles, soft towels, good bathroom fan, great water pressure, real hot water. Beds: soft sheets, 3 pillows, softer side matress. Slept great! Kitchen: cutting board, utensils, pots, coffee, etc. Apartment size fridge. Air conditioning unit. Great paint job. Wood tones with grey paint. Very well maintained property. Mature rose bushes and hanging baskets finish our experience here perfectly. Well done!
