Stamp River Provincial Park

This 327-hectare park is an amalgamation of Stamp Falls and Money’s Pool provincial parks. You will find lovely waterfalls and several scenic trails featured at Stamp River. During August & December you can watch the spectacular run of thousands of Pacific salmon as they jump up the ladders to their spawning beds. Call 250-248-9460 for more information.

Steam Train

On summer days enjoy a fabulous ride to the McLean Mill National Historic Site aboard the Alberni Pacific Railway's Number 7 Steam Locomotive. Trains leave from the restored E&N Railway Station at the entrance to the Harbour Quay Thursday - Monday with 2 runs per day to the McLean Mill. Trains do not run on Tuesday & Wednesday. Departures are from the restored 1912 Port Alberni Railway Station at the Gateway to Alberni Harbour Quay.

Taylor Arm Provincial Park

Located 23 km northwest of Port Alberni, Taylor Arm is close to Sproat Lake and offers group campsites only. A day use area is also on site. Several trails exist to access Sprout Lake. Call 250-248-9460 for more information.
